GeoSpatial Case Manager
GeoSpatial Case Manager is an innovative software case management system for Child Welfare Services and Juvenile Justice Systems, specifically developed to address the challenges facing child welfare organizations, and to help manage agency workload, enabling caseworkers to provide a ‘Continuum of Care.’
Our location analytics software is customized to provide comprehensive solutions to the complex problems that arise in providing quality service and time-sensitive care to children in the foster care system. Through the design and implementation of specific analytics, we provide caseworkers with the tools necessary to meet the care giving needs of their unique community.
GeoSpatial Case Manager is an easily adaptable, low-cost system designed to help the child welfare workforce promptly and efficiently address the myriad problems plaguing their industry, including issues of permanency and stability of living arrangements, management of case loads, and gaps in service.
Utilizing specific analytics and mapping technology, agency workers are able to visually extract and analyze data and spatially represent information on a map. Caseworkers are able to have easier, faster, and more functional access into their data, thereby allowing them to make important decisions quicker and with less manual processing than their previous system.
Built upon Microsoft technologies including MapPoint 2004, Office 2003 and SQL Server, our system uses an intuitive geographical user interface into agency data, providing users with the ability to spatially represent information and interpret data on a visual map.
Case workers can visually access data in a user-friendly format and deliver prompt, quality service to children in need including the ability to:
- Identify Gaps in Coverage and Identify Children at Risk
- Quickly and Appropriately Place a Child in Need of a Foster Home by Visually Locating Vacancies, Proximity to Schools and Services, and Licensing Status
- Visualize, Prioritize and Effectively Manage Case Loads
- Visualize Gaps in Service and Provide Prompt Services to Children in Need
- Locate Services and Case Workers in Emergency Situations
- Manage neighborhoods at the spatial level
Cubistix is working in a real-life environment with Partnership for Strong Families and Florida Child Welfare Services, and partnering with Microsoft on the completion of a case study and proof-of-concept of this application.
